Fixing Mistakes

Do you know that no project goes without at least one mistake? It is a fact that every knitter of any skill level makes mistakes. 

In this class you will learn how to spot common knitting mistakes like purl instead of knit stitch, dropped stitches, accidental yarn overs, twisted stitches, slipped stitches that were not worked through, incorrect decreases or increases, and more.

Homework

With worsted or DK weight and light-colored yarn make a swatch in St. st. as follows:

• With US 4-5 (for DK) or US 6-8 (for worsted), CO 30 sts.
• Row 1 (WS): Purl. 
• Row 2 (RS): Knit. 
• Repeat these 2 rows until piece measures 3"/7.5 cm. 
• Do not bind off.

Supplies to Bring: Have swatch with yarn and circular needle, 3-6 markers round and locking, small circular or dpn needle US 2 or 3, and crochet hooks of  sizes D and H.

Sweater Finishing Series

Each of the 5 classes will be 2 hours in duration. Homework will be emailed to each student 2 weeks prior to the first class. Homework will then be assigned at the end of each class for the upcoming class.

Cost: $250 for the series

All classes will be held on Sundays from 11:00am - 1:00pm
